Dear Valued Customer,
CÉRA will never request your financial account or credit card information via SMS, phone calls, or any other unofficial channels, nor will we ever ask you to visit a bank or operate an ATM under any circumstances.
If you receive such a message or call, please stay alert and do not follow any instructions from unknown callers. If you are uncertain, please contact CÉRA immediately or call the Anti-Fraud Hotline at 165, operated by the National Police Agency, for verification.
Please be extra cautious if you receive calls with caller IDs starting with “+”, “+2”, or “+886”, as scammers often spoof phone numbers or impersonate companies, banks, or government agencies. Do not click on suspicious links or accept unknown LINE friend requests or messages.
Common scam tactics include claiming “duplicate orders” or “accidental installment payments” to gain your trust, followed by instructions to perform online banking or ATM actions. If anything involves your bank account, please contact your bank directly. If a caller requests account operations or asks for personal data, refuse immediately to reduce the risk of fraud.
To enhance your information security, we also recommend:
Regularly updating your password
Using strong passwords with a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers
Avoiding login on public or shared computers
Wishing you safety and peace of mind,
CÉRA
